Well, it appears that Google has decided to take their web applications out of beta after 5 years. For most of us, this just means the removal of the little beta sign under the logo. The main apps that will have this “beta” status removed are Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Talk. This is what I got as the change log: iTunes 8.1 is now faster and more responsive.
